The Great British Flower School – On-site Workshop Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
All workshops must be booked in advance via our website or by email confirmation with our team.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. We do not hold spaces without payment.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all relevant details.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the workshop date will be eligible for a 50% refund or a transfer to another workshop (subject to availability).
Cancellations made within 30 days of the workshop are non-refundable, due to the perishable nature of materials and limited spaces.
In the unlikely event that The Great British Flower School needs to cancel a workshop, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops at any point due to seasonality, extreme weather, low attendance, or the agile nature of our work on a working flower farm.
In the event of cancellation by us, we will not be liable for any associated costs incurred by attendees (including travel, accommodation, or otherwise), so we recommend booking flexible or refundable travel where possible.
We are unable to offer refunds for no-shows under any circumstances.
3. Transfers & Substitutions
If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your place to a friend or colleague – please let us know their details at least 48 hours in advance.
Workshop places are non-transferable to other dates unless agreed in writing.
4. Group Bookings & Private Workshops
For bespoke workshops or private group bookings, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date.
Final numbers and full payment are due 14 days before the workshop.
If your group size reduces after final payment, no refund will be issued for absent participants.
5. Health & Safety
Participants must follow all health and safety instructions provided during the workshop.
Our workshops may involve the use of sharp tools, wires, ladders, and other rigging equipment – all attendees must behave responsibly and follow guidance at all times.
Appropriate footwear (closed-toe, no heels) is required for rigging or any physical installations. Please be aware we work on a working flower farm and ask you to be cautious of all machinery and equipment.
The Great British Flower School accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained if health and safety guidance is not followed.
Please inform us of any allergies or medical conditions that may affect your participation before the workshop.
6. Liability
The Great British Flower School is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during workshops.
All materials and tools are provided unless stated otherwise. Please handle all tools with care.
We are fully insured for public and product liability, but participation is at your own risk. Our insurance policy is available to view at anytime.
7. Photography & Media
We may photograph or film workshops for promotional use across our platforms. If you’d prefer not to be included, please let us know at the start of the session.
Participants are welcome to take photos and share them on social media (please tag us – we love to see your work!).
8. Age Restrictions
Workshops are designed for adults (18+). Please contact us if you’d like to arrange a family-friendly or children’s workshop.
